COWBOYS/Packers Over 52¹/₂: So long as Aaron Rodgers’ sketchy offensive line gives him sufficient time to find his receivers, and presuming Rodgers doesn’t get bogged down in yet-another secondquarter scoring drought, this should get there. Iffy Cowboy secondary helps. It’s difficult to conceive either of these high-potential offenses are entering this headliner with the idea that sustained defensive excellence will carry the day, so they may as well strap themselves in and enjoy themselves. Go “high” in this playoff rematch, for one unit.

Kansas State (+5) over TEXAS: The boxing crews constantly argue that “styles make fights,” and this looms a classic case. A mobile quarterback with K-State’s Jesse Ertz’s talents is not going to flatter Texas’ defensive stats against the run — and on defense, the Purple and White will clobber you first and offer condolences later. Bill Snyder’s bunch may not be of New Year’s Day caliber, but gets the job done at this level. Growl with K-State, for one unit.

LAST WEEK: 2-0. Rams (W). Colorado (W). SEASON: 5-4
