‘Speed trap’ backfires

A Pennsylvanian used flashing dashboard lights to mimic a police speed trap — so he could slow cars speeding past his home killing deer and endangering people.

Ricky McMillen, 57, said he was sick of smelly deer carcasses on the road in Donegal Township, about 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.

State police charged McMillen with displaying improper lights.
