An Australian lovebird has been rejected by his crush.

The pigeon kept following a woman outside her Brisbane apartment, apparently convinced he’d win her over by doing a mating dance.

The woman said she told her stalker, “We have incompatib­le genitals, pigeon.’’ Her video of the birdbrain has gone viral.

All you need is a dollar and a fortune cookie.

Charles Svatos, a 92-yearold Iowa grandfathe­r, won $390,000 in the state lottery.

He said he bought the winning ticket, in part, because he had eaten a fortune cookie that promised, “You will discover an unexpected treasure.’’

He added, “It’s hard to believe a fortune cookie. You can never believe them most of the time.’’

A half-dozen fugitives staged a breakout — but were easy to recognize and recapture because they were all wearing prison stripes.

It took place in a Hungarian town called Sopron, when a worker for the national circus failed to close a fence around the field where zebras were held.

None of the zebras was injured during the brief time on the run.

A parking ticket issued by New Mexico State University will cost you peanuts — make that peanut butter.

The school announced that motorists ticketed for not having a parking permit can have the ticket thrown out in return for at least 80 ounces of peanut butter.

The spread will be donated to a local food pantry.

A North Carolina man figured he’d found a great place to stash his weed . . . in some weeds.

Teon Shamal La’Shane Douglas, 21, was outside the courthouse in the town of Sanford waiting for his hearing on a probation violation when he decided it might not be a great idea to bring his pot inside.

So he tried to bury it in some bushes, but officers spotted him and placed him under arrest.
