HARVEY RAPED ME, TOO

LAPD closes in

- By TINA MOORE and RUTH BROWN

An Italian actress has accused Harvey Weinstein of rape — and the LAPD is on the case. The 38-year-old woman spent hours discussing her story with cops Thursday morning after first going to police Tuesday, the LA Times reports. The unidentified woman claims the movie mogul showed up at her door at the Mr. C Beverly Hills hotel after the Los Angeles, Italia Film, Fashion and Art Fest in February 2013 and “bullied” his way in. “Once inside, he asked me questions about myself but soon became very aggressive and demanding and kept asking to see me naked. He grabbed me by the hair and forced me to do something I did not want to do. He then dragged me to the bathroom and forcibly raped me,” she told the Times. The incident allegedly took place within the 10-year statute of limitations for rape in California. The actress is the sixth woman to accuse Weinstein, 65, of rape or forcible sex acts. He has “unequivocally denied” any nonconsensual sex, but his rep told the LA Times she couldn’t comment on “some anonymous complaint.”

The accuser is staying anonymous out of concern for her kids, but the paper says she is well known in Italy, having appeared in films and on the cover of Italian Vogue.

The news came as the NYPD said calls about Weinstein (inset) are pouring in to its hot line from across the country and even abroad.

“None of those calls have alleged any criminal conduct within New York City . . . Referrals have been made to other jurisdictions both within the US and overseas,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said Thursday.

Also Thursday, The New Yorker claimed Weinstein sobbed and pleaded, “I’m not that guy. I’m not that guy,” to an assistant after the first article came out in The New York Times.
