Weird BUT true

A smart-ass criminal suspect brought an undetectable weapon to his police interrogation in Kansas City.

A detective reported that when asked for his home address, the 24-year-old man “leaned to one side of his chair and released a loud fart.’’

He “continued to be flatulent and the detective was forced to quickly end the interview.’’

A voter in Portland, Maine, made some jawdropping news Tuesday.

He left his false teeth in a polling booth.

They were found by an employee and are now in a plastic bag at the office of the city clerk, where their embarrassed owner can claim them.

Three generous thieves who staged an armed robbery in a Houston doughnut shop took pity on bystanders.

Two of them, one holding a handgun, jumped over the counter and demanded money from the cash register.

The third handed out the pastries to the customers while fellow thieves stole money from the employees.

There’s no question about this woman’s lucky number.

Brenda Gentry, of Troy, Va., won $5,000 in a lottery scratch-off game.

Soon after that, she bought a $500 winning ticket.

But her latest win was by far the best — she collected $5 million.

“This has been a little nerve-racking because I don’t want it to change my life,” she said.

Speaking of lottery winners . . .

Heston Hughes of Los Angeles County bought a $10 lottery ticket the day after his 35th birthday.

His gift to himself was winning the $750,000 top prize.

Asked how he’d spend it, Hughes said, “Maybe I’ll buy some Bitcoin and invest some of it.

“But first I’m going to have some sushi.”
