App ‘finds my cheating wife’
“Kill me! I don’t care!” a tech-savvy New Jersey florist screamed after using the “Find My iPhone” app to catch his wife in bed with a rival, according to testimony Friday in a salacious upstate burglary trial.
“I was in fear,” Albert Lopez said of the moment in April 2016, when enraged cuckold Sean Donis burst into his Rockland County bedroom, cellphone video camera at the ready.
Lopez, 58, was in bed with Donis’ wife, Nancy.
“I kept telling him you need to get out of here,” Lopez testified at Donis’ felony burglary trial.
“He wouldn’t leave, so I grabbed him by his shirt” and escorted him out,” Lopez remembered.
All the while, Donis, 37 — who had uncovered the tryst by tracking the family iPad — was filming the encounter, naked cheating wife and all.
“I just needed to catch them and prove I was right,” Donis explained during his own turn on the witness stand.
“I can’t believe you, Nancy!” the enraged husband is heard screaming on the video footage, which was played for Rockland County Supreme Court Justice Kevin Russo, who is presiding over the nonjury trial. Donis is accused of burglary for entering the home.
“All on video! Both of you motherf--kers are fired tomorrow!” Donis shouted of Lopez, CEO of Gotham City Orthopedics in Clifton, and his wife, who worked for Lopez as billing manager.
Donis would send the video to his wife’s mother and sister.
Lopez was so desperate to oust the heated hubby from his home, he asked Donis “if he wanted to die.” The response? “Kill me. I don’t care,” Lopez testified.
The next morning, he received a Facebook message from Donis: “Bring it, bro. Slept with my wife. Good one, f--got.”
Donis’ lawyer, Howard Greenberg, said in opening statements that his client actually “deserves a medal,” not a prison sentence, “for the amount of restraint he showed when he entered that scene.”
Donis faces a possible maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
