Always check your work. Workers at a Canadian funeral home are under fire for cremating the wrong woman’s body.

Serenity Funeral Home and Crematorium in Berwick, Nova Scotia, accidentally cremated Sandra Bennett, 65, instead of a 96year-old woman, who was embalmed instead.

Students at a Canadian college were busted for cheating — on a law and ethics test.

Engineering students were being quizzed at University of Regina in Saskatchewan when the professor left the room and they pulled the unscrupulous move.

“I trust that the irony of cheating in a law and ethics class is not lost on anyone,” said David deMontigny, the school’s dean.

Crime bites. A Florida woman came to the defense of a 19-year-old pal — by biting the leg of the deputy trying to arrest him.

Alexander Roque allegedly stole from a store near Tampa. As he was being arrested, Ellen Page, 24, was herself busted for interfering.

She wriggled out of her handcuffs and allegedly bit the deputy through his pants, leaving a bloody gash.

A klutzy California crook got caught in a sticky situation when he tried to snatch a large gumball machine.

The burglar smashed a glass window at Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento and climbed into the building.

But when he tried to pull the candy machine back through the small window, it was too large — and the treats spilled onto the floor, a surveillance video shows.

The thief eventually fled without the machine.

Scientists at the University of York found that dogs are more likely to bond with owners who use the upbeat babble.
