Hollywood scion a ‘class’ act

-

HOLLYWOOD stars Annette Bening and Warren Beatty are on a charm offensive to help get their 17-year-old daughter Ella Beatty into the prestigious Juilliard School, sources tell Page Six.

The legendary music, arts and acting school is notoriously difficult to get into, and the audition process is famously tough. We hear that at this stage, there are about 50 finalists who have been attending a three-day intensive immersion at the Lincoln Center-based school to face teachers, administrators, matriculating students and run a gamut of performance and dance workshops.

Four-time Oscar nominee Bening even showed up this past Friday at Juilliard with her daughter and stood on line with other proud parents. We hear that when the parents were asked to introduce themselves by first names and hometowns, in front of the group, Bening said she was “Annette from Kansas.” (The “American Beauty” star was born in Topeka.)

Sadly for some excited moms in the group, there was no sign of the handsome Beatty. (Perhaps after 2017’s Oscars snafu, the family was worried he’d plug the name of the wrong student.)

Ella will find out in the coming weeks if she made it in. She’s made a splash with her famous parents before when she accompanied them on the red carpet of Los Angeles’ AFI Fest in 2016 when her mother was honored. Reports at the time enthused, “Ella, 16, stunned in a navy-blue bandage minidress and nude-colored pumps. The beauty (who’s the youngest of four) is a perfect mix” of Bening and Beatty.

The starry parents also have three other kids: Stephen, Benjamin and Isabel.

Other actors who got their start at Juilliard include: Robin Williams, Kevin Spacey, Kelsey Grammer, Adam Driver, Val Kilmer and Jessica Chastain — who seems to mention graduating from the school in nearly every interview she ever does. Bening’s rep did not immediately get back to us.
