Pack’s Bakhtiari hurt

Packers All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari was taken off the field on a cart Saturday during Family Night at Lambeau Field. He walked to the cart with his left shoe off.

Asked if Bakhtiari’s injury was a major concern, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said: “I don’t have enough informatio­n to answer that. I know it’s his ankle, but that’s all I know.”

Cubs’ Darvish pain free

After throwing a bullpen session on Saturday, Yu

Darvish said he was painfree and “very optimistic” about returning to the Cubs rotation this season.

Darvish threw 55 pitches, including warmups. The right-hander has been on the DL since late May with triceps and elbow injuries.

Padres’ Myers to DL

San Diego placed left fielder Wil Myers on the 10-day DL with a left foot bone bruise. The move is retroactiv­e to Friday. Outfielder Franmil Reyes was recalled from Triple-A.

Trout sits again

Angels outfielder Mike Trout was out of the starting lineup for the third straight game because of a sore right wrist.

Fowler out with hurt foot

St. Louis put outfielder Dexter Fowler on the disabled list. Second baseman Kolten Wong was activated from the 10-day DL.

Titans fill safety hole

Tennessee added a pair of safeties to replace injured Johnathan Cyprien, and neither is named Eric Reid.

The Titans announced they have agreed to terms with Kenny Vaccaro and

Jason Thompson. A source told the AP that Reid was coming to Nashville to work out for the Titans.

Vegas inks Karlsson

The Golden Knights signed forward William Karlsson to a $5.25 million, one-year contract.

Goalie John Gibson has agreed to an eight-year, $51.2M extension with Anaheim. He is signed through 2026-27. He set career highs last season with 31 wins and a .926 save percentage.
