Hobnobbing With Hamas

-

Hamas this week pledged its support for UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, who could have done without the “help” as he sinks ever deeper into a swamp of associations with anti-Semites and terrorists.

The message of “support” followed news that Corbyn’s under investigation for breaching Parliament’s rules with an undeclared 2010 West Bank trip, where he was photographed meeting with top Hamas officials.

Israel, the United States and the European Union have all designated Hamas a terrorist group, since it regularly sponsors suicide bombings and other terror attacks. Yet this doesn’t even seem to be Corbyn’s most recent sitdown with it.

He reportedly attended a 2012 conference in Qatar along with Khaled Mashaal, then Hamas’ political chief, as well as Husam Badran, its military chief. Convicted terrorist Abdul Aziz Umar was there, too.

And more photos show Corbyn alongside Tunisian terror chief Maher al-Taher — head of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine — at a 2014 wreath-laying ceremony for (among others) the terrorists who killed 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics.

Yes, all this came when he was a backbencher, before his rise to lead Labour. It’s still damning.

And the news breaks amid an endless string of other Labour politicians getting caught embracing blatant anti-Semitism ... which Corbyn time after time condemns only reluctantly and belatedly.

Pretty grim for a guy poised just an election away from becoming Britain’s prime minister.
