A Russian nail salon has come up with a new fingernail accessory — live ants.

Nail Sunny released a video of the odd manicure. In it, long acrylics are applied to each finger as another plastic layer is added at the bottom to create a vessel.

Amanda Putorti, 17, holed herself up willingly but was being helped by people, authoritie­s said. Jeremy Schaefer, 38, John Winnie, 34, Nicole Briggs, 37, and a 17-year-old boy were all arrested. Reports say Winnie is a registered sex offender.

It was unclear why Putorti was with the group.
