Standing by Their Man

-

I enjoyed Salena Zito’s column, “Despite it all, voters stick with prez for results” (PostOpinion, Aug. 23).

It resonated with me because I felt like she interviewed me. I voted for President Trump for the exact reasons she mentions.

I read that Facebook censored Zito’s story. Yet another reason I will continue to vote for Trump. Christine Brennan Southampton

I agree with Zito’s column. Many voters are savvy enough to appreciate Trump’s results in spite of his often lessthan-eloquent comments.

He speaks from the hip and says what he believes at the time. He is more natural than staged politicians who give lip service. Suzanne Chute Manhattan

Zito nails the Trump supporter — these were voters who supported the Democrats for years, and where did that get them?

They lost jobs overseas, and Democrats made promises they never kept.

In the president’s almost two years in office, he’s done more for America then Barack Obama did in eight years. His private life is between him and his family. Dan Gardner Staten Island

You could tell me Trump shot Santa Claus on Christmas Eve at midnight in front of St. Patrick’s and I’d still vote for him in 2020.

I’m sick and tired of the attacks on Trump and sick of seeing the left get off easy and the right get crucified over nothing. Barbara Paolucci Manhattan
