Two young lovers died early Saturday after their motorcycle crashed head-on into a van in Queens — leaving their families bereft.

Steven Goddard, 22, and Amy Gutierrez, 20, of Queens, were driving the wrong way on 43rd Avenue in Sunnyside on a 2018 Suzuki DRV, when they struck an oncoming Ford E250 near 38th Street, at about 3:30 a.m., police said.

Officers called to the scene found them lying unconscious, pinned with severe injuries under the van.

They had been wearing helmets, police said.

They were pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital.

The 27-year-old driver of the van remained at the scene and declined medical attention.

Gutierrez’s mother, Juana, 42, was devastated.

“When I saw her [to identify the body], I hugged her, I gave her lots of kisses all over her face,” she told The Post through a translator.

“I touched her face. I ran my hand through her hair. I told her ‘The Lord is with you.’ ”

“Now I won’t see her married or have children.”

On the sidewalk outside Goddard’s apartment building, blocks from the scene, approximately 40 relatives gathered.

“They loved each other,” Goddard’s dad, also named Steven, said, gesturing toward a photo.

“I tell him don’t ride the bike,” Goddard added. “I tell him, I tell him a hundred times.”
