Kush came to shove!

Chris rips Jared for WH-team ouster

- By BOB FREDERICKS

Chris Christie delivered some payback to Jared Kushner in a new book where he describes the first son-in-law as a vengeful, underhanded dullard ill-equipped to work in the White House.

In “Let Me Finish,” the former New Jersey governor accuses Kushner of orchestrating a “hit job” on him because Christie once prosecuted Jared’s dad, Charles Kushner.

“Steve Bannon . . . made clear to me that one person and one person only was responsible for the faceless execution that Steve was now attempting to carry out. Jared Kushner, still apparently seething over events that had occurred a decade ago,” Christie writes in the book, a copy of which was obtained by The Guardian. In other revelations:

Christie slammed disgraced former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn, who faces sentencing for lying to the FBI about his Russia contacts, as “the Russian lackey and future federal felon.”

Christie says Trump told him he was too fat and needed to slim down. “You gotta look better to be able to win” in politics, Trump told him over dinner in 2005.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, he also urged Christie to wear longer ties — like the president’s — because it would make him look thinner. During another dinner, Trump ordered for Christie, choosing scallops, to which he was allergic, and lamb, which he loathed.

Christie trashes Trump’s former attorney general, Jeff Sessions, saying the arch-conservative former Alabama senator was “not-ready-forprime-time” and that his recusal from the special counsel’s Russia probe led to its expansion.

Christie himself wanted the AG’s job, but he was blackballed by Kushner and Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, according to the book.

It was Kushner who convinced Trump to dump Christie as head of the transition team, a position that went to Vice President Mike Pence, according to the book.

When Bannon canned him at Trump Tower not long after the 2016 election, Christie demanded to know who was behind the firing, threatening he would publicly finger Bannon if he didn’t spill.

Bannon blamed Kushner, saying he was still furious over Christie’s prosecution of Charles Kushner in 2005. “The kid’s been taking an ax to your head with the boss ever since I got here,” Bannon told him, according to the book.

Charles Kushner pleaded guilty to 18 charges of tax evasion, witness tampering and illegal campaign contributions and served 14 months in a federal pen.

Christie claims that the Trump White House would be running like a Swiss watch if he had been in charge of the transition. Pence’s transition team had a “thrown-together approach” that resulted in bad hires for top posts.

Unlike other tomes by former White House staffers and journalists, Christie takes it easy on the president, admitting only that he often speaks off the cuff, creating needless controversy.

The book is out Jan. 29.
