Looks like this country star has a passion for the blues.
Country singer Miranda Lambert has revealed that she secretly married one of New York’s Finest — a handsome NYPD officer named Brendan McLoughlin, who steams up the streets of the Midtown South Precinct.
“In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me. ♥ #theone,” Lambert, 35, wrote on Instagram Saturday.
The surprise post came with two photos of them together — him tie-less in a tux and her in a lacy bridal gown.
The couple was spotted sporting wedding rings in Soho Saturday, holding hands as they strolled around in jeans and leather jackets.
And it seems Lambert isn’t the only star smitten by the 27-yearold law-enforcement officer.
Actress Busy Philipps gushed on Instagram Saturday that she had spotted the “hot cop” on multiple occasions when she was heading into ABC’s Midtown studios to appear on “Good Morning America” and he was stationed outside.
“Did Miranda Lambert meet the hot cop doing ‘GMA,’ outside of ‘GMA’?” the “Busy Tonight” host asked in a video, before sharing a snapshot she took of a uniformed McLoughlin in December 2017.
“He’s a hot a-- cop. Good for Miranda Lambert for landing the hot cop from ‘ GMA.’ ”
McLoughlin, who hails from Staten Island, is also something of a fixture on the Midtown South Precinct’s Twitter feed.
In March, he was given a shoutout for nabbing a bank robber mid-heist, and in 2015, he was shown with a K-9 named Kybo at a “doggy diving” event.
That same year, he was celebrated for taking first place in the Sgt. Keith Ferguson Memo- rial 5K Brooklyn Bridge Run.
He also appears to have a taste for the spotlight. When he was 19, he set up a page on a modeling Web site with photos of himself showing off his abs.
“My style is all american boy/ abercrombie/ sporty but I’m open minded,” he wrote.
This is Lambert’s second marriage. She and fellow coun- try star Blake Shelton tied the knot in 2011 before calling it quits four years later. Shelton is now married to pop singer Gwen Stefani.
Lambert split from boyfriend Evan Felker in August.
McLoughlin became a dad in November through a previous relationship, People reported.
