BELLE CURVES

Want a backside worthy of 1.8 million Instagram followers? Study up

T O get a covetable caboose, it takes way more than just perfect lighting and a strategically placed bikini bottom.

Chela, known to her 1.8 million Instagram followers as @therealchelasway, works out two hours a day, six days a week, on her nowfamous 5-foot-2 frame. Her curves — she’s got a 29-inch waist and 49-inch hips — even landed her a spot on MTV’s “True Life” reboot, “Obsessed With the Perfect Booty.”

“My butt has been the gateway to my Instagram career,” the 34-year-old bartender and model says on the show. The attention sent her skyrocketing professionally — landing her lingerie modeling deals, bartending gigs and prime billing at the annual West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn — but was too much for her longtime boyfriend, Chris. The pair eventually broke up over Chela’s sexy Internet presence.

Her success wouldn’t have been possible without the help of her trainer of eight years, Kim, who works in The Bronx and goes by @KimLifts to avoid online harassment. “Kim gives me direction and guidance,” Chela tells The Post. “She’ll pinpoint things to help me highlight areas that I want to make better.”

Her sessions mostly involve weightlifting, and Chela tends to avoid cardio to maintain her weight.

“Trimming down too much doesn’t look good on everybody,” says Chela. “When my mom was alive, she would tell me not to get too skinny because I would look sucked in and weird.”

Rather, she uses her grueling sweat sessions to keep her waist small and her booty big.

To achieve those proportions, Chela eats mostly grilled poultry and fish, instead of red meat. She also swaps out white sugar for other sweeteners, such as agave and honey, and skips white flour products in favor of whole grains.

Although Chela admits that “genetics play a part,” she says her physique ultimately comes down to “time, squats and dieting.”

Kim agrees that devotion is the biggest part of the puzzle.

“The Instagram booty takes time,” Kim tells The Post. “It’s about the whole body, not just the lower half.” But she does indeed home in on the heinie. “The glute area has three different muscles, so we hit it from every angle . . . there are workouts that build size and ones that round out,” says Kim, who suggests that big-booty hopefuls start out sans equipment.

“Once you master [working with] your body weight, you can master anything else,” she says.

Here, Chela demos some of her and Kim’s favorite bottom-boosting exercises to get your rear in shape before summer starts.
