Bezos meets the ex

JEFF Bezos seems to be so smitten with girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, he even showed up to celebrate her former lover Tony Gonzalez as he was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. The billionaire Amazon founder jumped on a private jet with Lauren just hours after meeting her parents, Eleanor and Ray, for the first time. Bezos and a group, including Lauren’s sister Elena and a few other pals, flew to Canton, Ohio, to watch Gonzalez — the father of Lauren’s 18-year-old son Nikko Gonzalez — as he was inducted Saturday. Bezos was seen next to Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan at the ceremony in a photo taken by Forbes sportswriter Jeff Fedotin. A friend of Lauren’s told us: “Jeff joined the Sanchez family in Ohio. They really wanted to be there for Nikko’s dad.” We revealed that Bezos had been invited to the “Masters of the Universe” confab Google Camp in Sicily last week — but he did not attend in order to meet Lauren’s parents. Both couples have an obsession with flying: TV host Lauren is a helicopter pilot, while her dad is a flight instructor and owns a flight school in Albuquerque, NM. Eleanor also has a pilot’s license. Bezos, of course, is plowing millions into his space company, Blue Origin. The Amazon chief, a dad of four, met Lauren’s son Nikko for the first time just a few weeks ago in New York — where he’s just splashed out $80 million on three downtown apartments. Nikko’s godfather is Kevin Lockett, the former Chiefs wide receiver and father of Seahawks star Tyler Lockett.
