Your 16-hour TV guide to Super Sunday’s festivities

- By MOLLIE WALKER mwalker1@nypost.com

The NFL’s 100th season will come to an end Sunday with Super Bowl LIV. It’s a special one, as both the 49ers and the Chiefs haven’t won a Super Bowl title in a combined 75 years. It’s also the first time in four years the Patriots won’t be competing for the Lombardi Trophy.

Tom Brady and the Patriots have drawn a combined 312.8 million viewers over their past three Super Bowl appearances, but it’ll be Brady’s former New England teammate Jimmy Garoppolo who people will be tuning in to see this year. Garoppolo competes in his first Super Bowl with the Niners as a starting quarterback, after serving as a backup during two championship runs with New England. Running the show on the other side of the field will be Patrick Mahomes, coming off his second straight Pro Bowl nod.

Those two exciting new faces to the Super Bowl won’t be the only stars for TV viewers to keep an eye on when the whole day is chock full of fun.

Here’s The Post’s viewer’s guide for Super Bowl Sunday:

6 A.M.

Rise and shine! It is more than 12 hours until kickoff, and somebody is already discussing the 6:30 p.m. matchup between the 49ers and Chiefs. Tune in to ESPN2 and watch Matt Bowen, Sal Paolantonio and Greg Cosell break down the X’s and O’s, as well as highlight key players ahead of the championship game. Oh, and a “Sex and the City” marathon has already been on for four hours on E!

7 A.M.

Don’t want to wait until 3 p.m. to see some puppies in the 16th annual Puppy Bowl? Good thing Animal Planet put together a daylong series leading up to this year’s main event with all the puppies you can possibly watch. There are several options to tune into, including, “Training Camp Confidential,” “Where Are They Now?” and “Stars to the Rescue.” If, for some reason, you’re sad you won’t be watching Brady in the big game, check out FS1’s “The Great Brady Heist,” which chronicles the disappearance of Brady’s jersey following the Patriots’ Super Bowl LI victory over the Falcons in 2017.

8 A.M.

There’s a Super Bowl special episode of “Lock It In” on FS1, as well as another “Inside the NFL” pregame preview on Showtime. But the day doesn’t have to all be about football. The men’s singles championship of the Australian Open will be on ESPN2, as Novak Djokovic competes for his 17th Grand Slam title.

10 A.M.

If you’re a history whiz, ESPN’s “Postseason NFL Countdown” is airing a four-hour show to honor the league’s first 100 years of existence. After sifting through the iconic moments in NFL history, Jeff Darlington sits down with Mahomes and Steve Young interviews Garoppolo. Rams head coach Sean McVay, who coached in last year’s Super Bowl, will also be making an appearance.

NOON

Get an inside look into the journey to Super Bowl LIV with Fox’s two-hour “Road to the Super Bowl,” which originally debuted after the 1969 season. NFL Films puts together the 2019 season’s top moments, sound bites, players and teams. And if you’re more of a cat person, Animal Planet will take a break from its puppy content to show “The Best of Kitty Halftime.”

1 P.M.

Fox’s first Super Bowl preview show finally begins. Host Charissa Thompson is joined by Michael Vick, Dave Wannstedt, Tony Gonzalez, Colin Cowherd, Peter Schrager and Greg Olsen. Need another break from football? Watch St. John’s men’s basketball team host Georgetown on CBS.

2 P.M.

The 4½-hour pregame show on Fox has hosts Curt Menefee and Thompson dive into Super

Bowl LIV features, analysis and more from Hard Rock Stadium. Menefee and Thompson are joined by Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Howie Long and Jimmy Johnson. If you’re just trying to make the time pass before the game, check out the “Breaking Bad” marathon on AMC.

3 P.M.

The real fierce battle of the day, Puppy Bowl XVI, kicks off.

5 P.M.

At this point, you probably can’t believe the game hasn’t started yet and you’re on your second helping of the hors d’oeuvre of choice. Kitten Bowl VII just kicked off on the Hallmark Channel if you can’t get enough of the cute animals. Maybe tuning in to “The Office” marathon on Comedy Central will help pass the time, because Dwight Schrute seems to have that effect on people.

6:30 P.M.

The feature presentation of the whole day has finally arrived: kick off. Tune into Fox to hear singer-songwriter Demi Lovato sing the national anthem and then watch some football.

8 P.M.

You could always flip to Captain Olivia Benson on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” on USA Network if the first half is a bore.

AROUND 8:15 P.M.

Many wait around all night just for the Super Bowl halftime show, and this one is sure to deliver. Two of the fiercest women in music — Jennifer Lopez and Shakira — will be headlining the show. Both have albums in English and Spanish, so expect a performance that reaches well beyond the English-speaking audience.

9 P.M.

This year’s Super Bowl is so up in the air, who knows who will be winning at this point? At least there’s a “Simpsons” marathon beginning on FXX to put your “last” button on your remote to good use.

AROUND 10:15 P.M.

There’s been only one Super Bowl to go into overtime — PatsFalcons three years ago. So by now there should be a Super Bowl champion. FOX’s postgame coverage will begin immediately after the Lombardi Trophy is handed out. Now you can turn on the “Friends” marathon beginning on Nickelodeon. The Puppy Bowl is replaying, too.
