J.Lo’s Super ‘Emme’-winner

-

JENNIFER Lopez and Shakira will be joined on stage at the Super Bowl halftime show by reggaeton superstars J Balvin and Bad Bunny — plus J.Lo’s 11-year-old daughter, Emme.

Page Six has exclusively confirmed Puerto Rican Latin trap and reggaeton singer Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) — who has 21 million Instagram followers — will take the stage with Shakira.

Bad Bunny has just released the new song “6 Rings,” an emotional salute to Kobe Bryant. The two minute track ends with a recording of Bryant himself, saying, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you. And what can I say? Mamba out,” which is followed by a crowd chanting,

“Ko-be, Ko-be.” The audio clip is of Bryant thanking his fans after his final game in 2016.

The Spanish lyrics in “6 Rings” also note, “You won six rings, five with the NBA and one in a marriage that gave you your daughters/ Thinking that one of them left with you, got me outta control/But nah, it’s so you don’t play ball alone in heaven.”

However, as of Saturday, it wasn’t clear if there would be time to include Bad Bunny’s Kobe tribute in the show, according to insiders.

Meanwhile, Shakira confirmed in a press conference this week that there was indeed a plan to honor Bryant at Hard Rock Stadium,

We’re told Shakira will open the Pepsi halftime show, performing hits including “Hips Don’t Lie” and “Whenever, Wherever,” then she’ll be joined on stage by Bad Bunny for “I Like It Like That.”

Following Shakira’s approximately six-minute set, Lopez will take the stage and perform songs including “Waiting For Tonight,” plus a mash-up of songs including “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” and “Mi Gente” with J Balvin, before she’s joined by Emme, who has been appearing with her superstar mom on tour.

Then J.Lo and Shakira will unite for the finale, to perform a mash-up of “Waka Waka” and “Let’s Get Loud.” NFL and Super Bowl halftime producers declined to comment.
