TWO MORE famous ex-Yankees are apparently starving. Next month, the Fanatics collectibl­es operation will stage “An Evening With CC Sabathia and

Mariano Rivera” in Manhattan. Fans can prove their long, heartfelt devotion to one or both by forking over $2,000 for two tickets.

Rick Bernstein, Alabama transplant who joined HBO Sports 40 years ago to rise to Senior VP, is leaving the network in March to do something else. Now a Northern Gentleman with a Southern accent, Bernstein is a very good man who was in a tough business to remain one.
