Triumph, a koala born without a foot, was recently fitted with a prosthetic one crafted by a neighborhood dentist.

The joey koala was rescued by veterinarian Marley Christian in New South Wales, Australia, in 2017, after she found him lying next to his dying mother with three feet and a protruding bone in place of the fourth.

Dental prosthetist Jon Doulman volunteered to take on the case, and now Triumph can climb and run.

“It’s been two years that I have been working quite intensely on my turnips . . . but I never thought I would have been more than 10 kilos above the old record,” Allard said.
