Beauty without her lease?

-

IN something of a moment of poetic justice, Rachel Uchitel — one of the nation’s most famous homewreckers — has been asked to leave her own home after allegedly racking up nearly $50,000 in overdue rent.

Tiger Woods’ former mistress moved into a $3,200-a-month Upper East Side pad in 2019, but according to a lawsuit seen by Page Six, had issues paying the rent for several months that year. Then, she allegedly stopped paying rent entirely in May last year, racking up a bill of $25,550 for 2020.

Landlord Sherwood Allen Salvan told us she packed her bags and moved out in February, but according to the suit, she’s still supposed to pay $19,200 in rent between January 2021 and June 2021, when her lease runs out. He wants that cash, too.

But Uchitel — who, according to the suit, bounced several rent checks before she stopped paying entirely — filed for bankruptcy in July 2020. Now, the landlord is suing her guarantor for the whopping $48,844 he claims he’s due.

Making matters even messier, the guarantor is refusing to cough up, alleging “a fraud was perpetrated,” and that her signature was put on a two-year lease for both 2019 and 2020, when she had only agreed to cover 2019.

Uchitel told us, “There was an eviction moratorium, and I was waiting to see what the city was going to do and waiting to see how my job and my life was going to pan out.”

She added, “I have no intention of hurting people or stealing from people. I was in the middle of a pandemic like everyone else. I never intended for someone to have to pay my rent, or obviously it was a situation that no one expected to be in or wanted to be in.”

Of course, she shot to fame in 2009 after Woods’ then-wife, Elin Nordegren, uncovered a lengthy affair between Uchitel and the golf legend. It turned out to be just the first of many secret affairs that the golfer had been carrying on.
