WATSON FACING MORE SEX SUITS

- By MARK FISCHER AND JUSTIN TASCH

For the second straight day, a massage therapist has accused Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault, according to a civil suit filed Wednesday in Harris County, Texas — with more suits apparently on the way.

The alleged incident was said to have occurred in August 2020 — five months after another massage therapist says she was similarly assaulted by the 25-year-old face of the Houston franchise.

Both com- plaints say Watson assaulted the unidentified massage therapists by “touching” them with his penis and acting in an “aggressive” manner.

Watson denied the first allega- tion after it surfaced Tuesday, saying that he has “never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect” and that he looked forward to clearing his name. He also said he rejected a “baseless six-figure settlement demand” made before the first accuser came forward.

The quarterback has not publicly commented on the second allegation, which comes as he faces an uncertain future in Houston after requesting a trade earlier in the offseason due to reported issues with management.

Attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing both women, said on social media he will be filing a total of six cases on behalf of women alleging misconduct by Watson, a threetime Pro Bowl quarterback.

“Watson’s behavior is part of a disturbing pattern of preying on vulnerable women,” read the complaint filed Wednesday.

The plaintiff in the second complaint — who, like the women in the first suit, is referred to as Jane Doe to protect her identity — said Watson reached out to her over Instagram and flew her from Atlanta to a hotel suite in Houston for the massage session on Aug. 28. She said she found it “somewhat peculiar” that a “NFL player would seek a massage from her, because she is not a yet a well-known masseuse.”

According to the complaint, Watson immediately got completely nude and refused to cover his penis when asked, citing that he “gets hot easily.”

Soon after, according to the complaint, Watson “kept aggressively redirecting Plaintiff towards his anus.”

The plaintiff ignored his request and worked on Watson’s inner thigh area, as previously discussed, leading Watson to become “more aggressive,” and move in a direction that caused “Plaintiff’s hand to touch Watson’s genitals,” according to the complaint.

The plaintiff then stopped the massage, according to the complaint, and later exited the hotel room while Watson was in the shower.

She said that Watson only paid her half of what she was owed but that she was “so disturbed by the incident that she did not seek the other half of payment.”

The accusers are seeking “minimal compensatory damages” from Watson, who last fall signed a fouryear contract worth up to $156 million ($73 million guaranteed).

The first incident was alleged to have occurred on March 30, 2020. That suit claims Watson repeatedly told the massage therapist to focus on his “groin area,” and the woman, also identified as Jane Doe, began feeling “extremely uncomfortable” after roughly 25 minutes “due to Watson’s comments and behavior.”
