COUCH POTATO

THE POST’S GUIDE TO TODAY’S NCAA TOURNAMENT ACTION

-

(12) Georgetown vs. (5) Colorado 12:15 p.m., CBS The second day kicks off with one of the most unlikely teams in the field, Patrick Ewing’s Hoyas. To beat Colorado and star guard McKinley Wright IV, Georgetown will need to hold onto the ball, as their -3.9 turnover margin a game ranks 331st in Division I. (14) Eastern Washington vs. (3) Kansas 1:15 p.m., TBS After having to withdraw from the Big 12 Tournament because of COVID-19 issues, Kansas will be without forward Jalen Wilson, their leading rebounder, and guard Tristan Enaruna. Eastern Washington averages 78 points a game, but can they compete against an undermanned Kansas team? (9) St. Bonaventure vs. (8) LSU 1:45 p.m., TNT We know The Post’s Mike Vaccaro will be watching his Bonnies, who will be trying to advance to the second round for the first time since 1970. They’ll have to stop LSU’s Cameron Thomas, who led all freshmen with 22.6 points a game and is flanked by fellow doubledigit scorers Trendon Watford and Javonte Smart. (5) Creighton vs. (12) UC Santa Barbara 3:30 p.m., truTV Creighton no-showed a Big East Tournament upset loss to eighth-seeded Georgetown, but the Bluejays are one of the most explosive offenses in the field, averaging 77 points a game. Keep an eye on UCSB guard JaQuori McLaughlin, who led the Gauchos with 16.2 points a game.

(11) Drake vs. (6) USC 4:30 p.m., TNT

You may not have seen much of USC’s stud freshman Evan Mobley on the East Coast, but the 7-foot sensation put up 16.8 points and 8.6 rebounds a game and is likely a topfive pick in the NBA draft. After winning its first NCAA Tournament game since 1971, Drake likely won’t be able to contain him.

(9) Missouri vs. (8) Oklahoma 7:25, TNT

Oklahoma is another team dealing with COVID-related issues, as the Sooners will be without second-leading scorer De’Vion Harmon, who tested positive.

It’s latest blow for an Oklahoma team that enters having lost five of its past six games.

(11) UCLA vs. (6) BYU 9:40 p.m., CBS

Fresh off a comefrom-behind overtime win against Michigan State, UCLA faces BYU, which is looking to advance to the Round of 32after having suffered first-round defeats in each of its past three tournament appearances (2012, 2014, 2015).
