Man beaten with mic

- Woods

A man wielding a gold karaoke microphone pummeled a stranger he claimed touched him in a Brooklyn train station last week, cops said Wednesday.

The 65-year-old victim was near the booth at the Myrtle Avenue station on the J line around 3 p.m. Friday when the suspect approached and snarled, “Why did you touch me?” police said.

When the victim said he didn’t, the suspect punched and kicked him in the head and body and knocked him to the ground, authorities said. The assailant then took off. The victim was taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in stable condition with cuts to his head, nose and hand, police said.

Cops — who said they are still searching for the man — did not know why he had the microphone.Amanda
