Man, 25, shot in Harlem
A 25-year-old man was shot by a gunman on a motorized bike in Harlem early Wednesday, police said.
The victim was on Frederick Douglass Boulevard and West 127th Street around 12:40 a.m. when he got into an argument with someone whom investigators believe he knows, according to cops and police sources.
The squabble turned violent when the suspect opened fire, striking him twice in the back, once in the chest and once in the stomach, authorities and sources said.
The shooter fled on the motorized bike, cops said.
The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital, where his injuries were considered critical, but he has since been stabilized, police said.
The shooting came hours after two teenagers were wounded in separate instances of gunplay in Staten Island and East Harlem.
