SAILING, an Olympic sport since 1896, awards medals in the following categories: single-handed (solo event) men’s and women’s windsurf, men’s laser, women’s laser radial and men’s finn, and double-handed (duo event) men’s 49er, women’s 49erFX, men’s and women’s 470 and Nacra 17, which involves both genders.
