LI nurse slain ‘by ex’

A Long Island nurse was fatally stabbed by her ex-con ex-boyfriend, who left her to die in the woods, police sources told The Post Friday.

Sandra McIntosh, 46, had finished her shift at 7:30 p.m. at Stony Brook University Hospital on July 22 when ex Wayne Chambers, 49, picked her up in her car, according to sources and a report.

She was found around 8 p.m. in a wooded area of Holtsville, Suffolk police said. She died at the hospital where she worked.

Chambers — who served 14 years in prison for a Bronx robbery — was charged with her murder Friday, police sources said.
