Losing day

Stocks fell Friday, with much of the downward weight due to a 7.6 percent stumble for Amazon on its warning of weaker sales. The S&P 500 lost 0.5 percent to 4,395.26, though it still closed its sixth consecutive month of gains. The Dow fell 0.4 percent to 34,935.47, and the Nasdaq dropped 0.7 percent to 14,672.68.
