Meet “daddy short legs.” Scientists have tweaked the genes of daddy long legs to shorten the gams of the house-dwelling spiders.

Researchers with the University of Wisconsin-Madison used a technique called RNA interference to turn off a pair of genes tied to leg development in hundreds of daddy long leg embryos.

The experiment left the affected spiders with six of their eight legs coming out shorter than their un-engineered counterparts.

He then allegedly drove to and burglarized a 7-Eleven and also crashed into a house, multiple cars and a pedestrian before he was arrested.

He’s a real “Fruit Ninja.” An Idaho man won a Guinness World Records title after slicing through 85 airborne kiwis with a samurai sword while on a balance board.

David Rush completed the feat in 1 minute.

He’s beaten at least 200 records to promote STEM education and said this was his 10th inspired by the popular video game “Fruit Ninja.”
