Comic’s ex in serious pix

JOHN Mulaney has been speaking about his and ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler’s breakup — in a stand-up special and on late night TV — and now artist Tendler is speaking through her new artwork in Los Angeles. Her series “Rooms in the First House” seems to reveal her heartbreak after their split. Mulaney, who filed for divorce from Tendler in February after seven years of marriage, recently announced that he and new girlfriend Olivia Munn are expecting a baby, telling Seth Meyers, “I went to rehab in September. I got out in October. I moved out of my home from my ex-wife . . . Then I continued using drugs. I went to rehab again . . . I got out in February. Then in the spring I went to Los Angeles and met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia . . . And we’re having a baby together.” Multidisciplinary artist Tendler will be showing new photographs at the Other Art Fair in Santa Monica Sept. 23-26. One haunting image, “Dinner in March,” shows Tendler in a white gown looking longingly across a candlelit dinner table at an empty chair. Another shows her sitting alone on a bed gazing into the distance. She’s also posted another portrait of herself standing in her underwear in a darkened room, with her head in her hands. Social media followers have been supporting her upcoming show, with one commenter saying, “Ladies, let’s sell this out.”
