THE chef behind the Met Gala is sticking up for the event’s food after Keke Palmer roasted his menu on social media. Marcus Samuelsson, who won “Top Chef Masters” in 2010, told TMZ that a picture of Palmer’s plate was not an accurate depiction of what was served — and that he believes the food tasted “plenty good.” A rep for Vogue exclusively told Page Six that organizers were “so thrilled and grateful” to work with Samuelsson, despite some of the feedback online. The grub was a “plant-based menu” featuring recipes from 10 emerging New York chefs. But Palmer’s peevish post said, “This is why they don’t show y’all the food.”
