Rocky Road, Marquez for Stitches

- Stitches@nypost.com

Movin’ on up. We went 8-7 with our college football selex last week. Enough to get us out of the basement. Thank you, Mark Hale.

The Braves, the beasts of the NL least, host the Colorado Balboas on Thursday. Atlanta’s Ian Anderson (7-5, 3.61 ERA) was pulled after three innings after the Rockies scored four runs at hitter-friendly Coors Field on Sept. 4.

Anderson has made seven day-game starts this season, winning once. Colorado counters with German Marquez (12-10, 3.93 ERA) who shut out Philly at Philly for six innings to pick up his 12th win for a team that has played to its low expectations. The Bravos are 37-35 at home. Play 10 units on the Rockies.

Red Sox 9, Mariners 4. Boston put the game away with a six-run 10th inning. Special thank you to Seattle relief pitchers Erik Swanson and Justus Sheffield. Victory has us at -593 splendid-splinters.
