Police are scrambling to piece together the circumstan­ces that led to the mysterious disappeara­nce of Gabby Petito, 22, while on a crosscount­ry road trip with her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie.

JULY 2

The couple start their road trip from Petito’s hometown of Blue Point, LI, in their white 2012 Ford Transit van.

JULY 5

Petito posts her first Instagram of the trip at Monument Rocks Natural Landmark in Kansas (below).

JULY 8-11

Petito arrives in Colorado and posts a photo in Colorado Springs on July 8. Over the next few days, she poses for photos at Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve.

JULY 16-22

The couple hike and camp in Utah’s Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon.

JULY 26

Petito shares a photo of her kissing Laundrie, 23, at the Mystic Hot Springs in Monroe, Utah (above).

JULY 30

The couple arrive in Canyonland­s National Park.

AUG. 12

After a 12-day hiatus, Petito shares photos of the couple in Arches National Park. Police in Moab, just outside the park, respond to a 911 domestic call regarding the couple. Bodycam video (below) shows Petito sobbing to an officer. Police report says Petito hit Laundrie, but no charges are filed.

AUG. 13

Laundrie posts his last Instagram photo at Arches National Park in Utah.

AUG.24

The couple check out of a hotel in Salt Lake City. Petito’s mother says she spoke to her daughter on FaceTime as they were leaving the hotel.

AUG. 25

Petito calls her family to tell them she’s in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park. Petito also posts her final Instagram photo, a picture of her in front of the Monarch Mural in Ogden, Utah (above).

AUG. 30

Petito’s family say they were still receiving texts from her phone until this date. The last text she sent her mother said she didn’t have service in Yosemite National Park in California — Petito’s mother has said she thinks her daughter did not write it. A friend says she was supposed to meet Petito in Yellowston­e but never heard from her.

SEP T.1

Laundrie returns to the couple’s home in North Port, Fla., with the van, which is registered in Petito’s name.

SEPT. 11

Petito’s parents (above) file a missing person’s report with Suffolk County, LI, authoritie­s.

SEPT. 14

Laundrie issues a statement through a lawyer saying he’s “remaining in the background” of the investigat­ion. Petito’s family also issue a statement accusing Laundrie of refusing to tell them where he last saw his girlfriend.

SEPT. 15

Police in North Port say Laundrie is refusing to cooperate and name him as a of interest.
