Stone’s nephew saved lives

SHARON Stone — who recently announced the death of her 11-month-old nephew — has revealed that the child’s donated organs helped save three lives. River, the nephew and godson of the actress, died late last month from total organ failure. Stone told People this week that River’s organs had been donated. “The fact that my godson was able to save three lives, two infants and a 45-year-old man, was a sanctuary for our family. I can only say that you never, never know when a tragedy will happen in your life or in your family, but this opportunity to be an organ donor, it saved us, saved our family,” the “Basic Instinct” star added.
