Couple’s social media postings

- Jesse O’Neill

Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie outlined their illfated camping tour on a social-media app, describing their voyages leading up to Petito’s disappearance.

Long Island native Petito and her now-also-missing boyfriend seemed to have started a profile in July on a Web site that bills itself as a “go-to resource for all campers.”

The account on The Dyrt is credited to “Gabby & Brian V.” It isn’t known why they used the initial “V” for Laundrie.

There are photos and video of a white tent with orange trim that appears to be the same one in a YouTube video that Petito posted Aug. 19. There is also an image of a smiling couple next to a rock formation who look like Petito, 22, and Laundrie, 23.

The location of the profile was Colorado Springs, Colo., and the tag line reads “traveling in our tiny van.” The account appeared to be last updated on July 29. The couple visited Colorado Springs on July 8, according to a timeline of the their travels complied by The Post.

“Gabby and Brian V” reviewed Utah’s Zion National Park on July 22, the last day they were known to be visiting the site.

“So beautiful here, Zion is just beautiful yes, but the tent sites here are really nice!” the couple wrote.

“Walk to the museum after dinner before it gets dark to refill on some cold fresh water and wait for the stars to come out!! So beautiful! And refreshing!! Great campsite! And clean bathrooms!”

“Got to watch a crazy thunderstorm in our newly converted van! Follow our journey Nomadicstatik.com & YouTube!!,” their last review of Arches National Park in Utah read.

It was posted about two weeks before police responded to a domestic dispute between the couple in a Moab, Utah, parking lot.
