An Indiana man pleaded guilty to misusing the 911 system after calling the line four times in one night to complain that he was “tired.”

Daniel Schroeder, 61, of Evansville, got a sentence of six months in prison but it was suspended on the condition that he not call 911 “unless it is an emergency,” according to The Smoking Gun.

He allegedly violated that condition the next day and was sentenced to 60 days.

A tiny Colorado town is begging for its stolen phone booth to be returned.

Although it doesn’t work, residents of Cope said the booth was a landmark for the town of just 56 people.

“It was just kind of a novelty. It’s just sad that somebody would, you know, take our little phone booth,” Cope Recreation Club President Lanny Payne said.

A Japanese home-fixture company commissioned the making of a traditional sweet — in the shape of a toilet.

Called monaka, the confection usually consists of redbean paste placed in between rice wafers. But in the version from Lixil Group, the wafer is shaped like a potty and users must fill it themselves.

And it doesn’t matter if you prefer the seat up or down: This treat goes either way.

The goats, which had been penned in a park to eat up weeds, got loose Friday after someone tampered with their electric fence. A cop and park ranger were unable to get the animals under control until the youths assisted.

Purdue University researchers have won a Guinness record for developing the world’s whitest paint.

Professor Xiulin Ruan said that the aim was to create a paint that would reflect sunlight from buildings, lowering energy costs.

The paint includes barium sulphate, which reflects 98.1 percent of solar radiation, giving the paint its whiteness, he explained.
