Jamie Spears’ attorney claims the ruling to have her client suspended as his daughter Britney Spears’ conservator was a “loss” for the pop star.

Vivian L. Thoreen also says Jamie would continue to “look out for the best interests of his daughter,” despite Wednesday’s decision by a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge to end his oversight of his daughter’s finances.

“Mr. Spears loves his daughter Britney unconditionally. For 13 years, he has tried to do what is in her best interests, whether as a conservator or her father,” Thoreen said in a statement. “This started with agreeing to serve as her conservator when she voluntarily entered into the conservatorship.”

The attorney credits Jamie, 69, with helping Britney, 39, “revive her career and re-establish a relationship with her children,” Jayden and Sean Preston Federline.

“For anyone who has tried to help a family member dealing with mental-health issues, they can appreciate the tremendous amount of daily worry and work this required,” she said.

Thoreen claims that work included Jamie keeping quiet amid “all the false, speculative and unsubstantiated attacks on him” by the public or “Britney’s own attorney.”

Thoreen called the outcome of Wednesday’s hearing “all the more disappointing and, frankly, a loss for Britney,” and claimed it was “wrong” for the court to suspend Jamie.

“Despite the suspension, Mr. Spears will continue to look out for the best interests of his daughter and work in good faith towards a positive resolution of all matters,” Thoreen’s statement concluded.

Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, asked the court to appoint certified public accountant John Zabel as temporary conservator of Britney’s $60 million estate. The judge agreed to Zabel’s appointment despite pushback from Jamie and his legal team.

It was clear the “Toxic” singer felt differently. A source exclusively told Page Six that Britney “burst into tears” after the ruling.

“For the longest time, she had begun to think that she would never see the day that her father’s domineering control over every single aspect of her life would end, but it finally happened,” the insider said.

“She’s in shock and at a loss for words but literally jumping for joy. She hasn’t felt joy like this in 13 years,” the insider added.

The “Sometimes” songstress also told fans via social media she was on “cloud 9” — literally and figuratively, as she was flying a plane — after the hearing ended.

Britney has been under the conservatorship — which allowed Jamie to control her personal, medical and financial affairs — since 2008 following a tumultuous year that involved her children being taken away.
