Rested Raiders over a washed-up WFT

-

The Wildcat returns for his 25th season in the Bettor’s Guide. Cat’s record in print stands at 652-562 (53.7 percent) against the spread.

RAIDERS (-2.5) over Washington: Washington is emerging off a short rest, having edged the modest Seahawks on Monday night. Vegas is off an extraordinary OT effort, having battled the Cowboys on Turkey Day, but enjoy a considerable freshness advantage, with a three-plus-day recovery interval edge. Beating Dallas can take a lot out of a side, but we’ll risk it with Derek Carr and this group, which continues to perform with a meaningful measure of distinction. Raiders sustain.

Patriots (+3) over BILLS: Pats QB Mac Jones is off another 300-yard-plus passing game, making the most of his chances and taking advantage of the field positions the defense established for him against the Titans. Buffalo is off a smashing, large-margin win as well, though the Saints’ injury-decimated defense hasn’t been nearly as impressive as it could be earlier this season. Bills QB Josh Allen delivered two passes to guys wearing the wrong-colored uniform — but got away with it in the Superdome. Pats keep it up.

LAST WEEK: 0-2. Colts (L). Eagles (L). SEASON: 12-11-1. For further information on Wildcat Sports’ services, write: P.O. Box 739, Hightstown, N.J., 08520.
