Blas’ Latest Stupidity: Drug ‘Shooting Galleries’

-

Mayor de Blasio’s establishment of these death camps may just be the crowning achievement in his legacy of turning the greatest city in the world into a zombie factory (“Come on down & shoot on up,” Dec. 1).

How, in any way, shape or form, can this insult to civilization be considered compassionate?

Only in New York can lame-duck Mayor Putz create drug dens that are paid for with your tax dollars. Now junkies of all sorts can visit their local drug den and get as high as they please without a worry. Thanks to the progressive mindset, we can now expect an increase in illegal drug use with free syringes. Way to go, New York! Another failed liberal ideal will eventually backfire when the overdoses accumulate. Vincent Conti

Mayor de Blasio wants to leave our city with one more “gift” before he leaves office. These “safe injection sites” as a harm-reduction strategy will do nothing more than increase the crime rate in New York City.

There’s a major downside: encouraging more drug use. But what concerns me is the idea that every problem facing the city can be solved with simple solutions like this. Martin Garfinkle

So as a parting gift to the people of New York City, de Blasio has opened up centers where people can go and shoot up whatever drugs they are using at the moment. They can also smoke crack under supervised conditions.

Drugs should not be allowed under any conditions. Drugs are criminal. Drugs are illegal. Drugs kill. Period.

This mayor can’t leave quickly enough. Years of increased crime. Increased garbage. Millions of dollars that were supposed to help the mentally ill wasted.

People fleeing in droves as the quality of life of this once great city deteriorated under his watch.

U-Haul trailers flooding our highways as people go leave the city after eight years of his moronic leadership.

Don’t let the door hit you in the tush on your way out. Good riddance! Jerry Esposito

If our useless mayor had put to real use the money he gave his inept wife to help those in need of heavy drugs, we wouldn’t need centers for those unfortunate human beings depending on drugs to survive.

The money could have been used to help them get through life without the drugs that are killing so many.

That money could have helped many live better lives. Where has the money gone?

Why can’t we know how our money was spent? Heroin centers are not the answer and can only make things worse, for the sick and those of us who must associate with them. Bunny Abraham

Thirty days to go and our imbecile mayor is still trying to destroy New York City. Now he’s opening up a drugshooting gallery. Why don’t we just open of a drug-purchasing store in every borough. What a moron. Gene O’Brien

One month to go for de Blasio. The city’s most tar-and-featherable mayor heads for oblivion, and then the city gets up off the canvas.

No more meaningless mandates, no more Wild West gunfights on city streets. No more schoolkids held hostage by the teachers unions.

No more money down a rabbit hole and no more straphangers ending up on the tracks.

Incoming mayor Eric Adams will bring fiscal responsibility and law and order. Coherent government and growth will be the main themes of his new administration.

Mayor de Blasio has taken aiding and abetting to a new high (sad pun intended) by opening the first supervised drug-shooting galleries in the country.

A new twist on BYOB — Bring Your Own Beer — for liquor. Even on the way out the door, he amazes us with his stupidity. Phil Serpico Queens
