LAPD investigating Kanye
KANYE West is under investigation for alleged criminal battery in LA, a spokeswoman for the LAPD confirmed to Page Six.
The “Donda” rapper allegedly got into an argument that turned physical at around 3 a.m. Thursday when a fan asked West for his autograph while he was sitting in his SUV outside of the private club Soho Warehouse, according to local reports.
West allegedly punched the fan, who fell to the ground. The case is being investigated as misdemeanor battery, which carries a maximum sentence of six months.
Reps for West didn’t comment, and the LAPD declined to provide details beyond confirming the investigation.
Video from the scene emerged on TMZ of an irate West yelling, “Did y’all say that or not? Did y’all say that or not . . . Cause that’s what happened right f - - king now.”
In another video, which also shows a man lying on the sidewalk as if having been decked, West is heard yelling at a woman, “Get away from me!” She tries to calm him and says, “Give me your hand.” He responds, “No, get away from me! Ain’t no hands; ain’t no hands.” The unidentified woman replies, “I am your family. Give me your hand.” West then tells her, “You were supposed to talk to her!” It’s unclear who West’s talking about.
Earlier, West was out at LA club Delilah with new gal pal Julia Fox and a group including Madonna, Evan Ross and recently fired NFL star Antonio Brown, reports The Post’s Francesca Bacardi.
West and Fox were photographed making out as she walked the fashion mogul to his SUV — with him leaving Delilah while she stayed behind at the hot spot.
West is in the midst of a divorce from Kim Kardashian — but has been nearly inseparable from Fox since meeting her on New Year’s Eve in Miami.
West and Fox also hung with Brown at Craig’s in LA this week.
