Menace ‘stole & sold’ cop’s car

- Tina Moore, Valentina Jaramillo and Bruce Golding

The auto thief named one of the city’s “worst of the worst” repeat offenders by the NYPD is awaiting trial on a slew of charges — including for stealing a detective’s personal ride from outside a Brooklyn police station and selling it for scrap.

Ex-con Keith Kolm allegedly snatched the 2007 Chevrolet Impala in broad daylight while it was parked in front of Public Service Area 2 headquarters in East New York on Sept. 15, 2020.

The brazen caper is among eight Kolm allegedly committed during a three-month period that’s covered by just one of three criminal complaints pending against him in Brooklyn and Queens.

The others accuse Kolm, 32, of selling two stolen vehicles for scrap in March 2021 and of traveling in a stolen Toyota Prius to swipe a 1996 Ford van.

Sources identified Holm, who’s free without bail in all three cases, as “Recidivist No. 10” on the list compiled by the NYPD as part of Mayor Adams’ efforts to roll back the state’s controversial bail reform law.

His lawyers didn’t return requests for comment.
