Cease fires. Take hot Dylan
Chris Cuomo is returning to TV. The former CNN anchor, on the advice of his brother Andrew, is joining NewsNation. No name yet for the prime-time show, but insiders tell Stitches “The Fredo Variety Hour” is at the top of a short list.
Cuomo’s back, and so are the White Sox. Not only are they wild-card players, but they are a couple of games back of the division-leading Twins. Chicago is at Texas, and Dylan Cease has been untouchable for the Chisox, allowing four runs over his last 70 innings. Cease has lost once in nine road starts this season. The Rangers go with Glenn Otto. Otto has surrendered 14 runs over his last 20 2/3 and went 0-4 in July. Play 10 units on the surging Chisox.
Clayton Kershaw left after four innings with a bad back. But Mookie Betts and Trae Turner homered, the pen held, and the Dodgers beat the slumping Giants, 5-3. Winner. Up +2,061 lasordas.
