A Connecticut mom who strangled her three kids before killing herself was laid to rest Friday alongside the children she murdered — as heartbreaking photos showed the weeping dad saying farewell to his family.

Sonia Loja, 36, and her children were memorialized at Danbury’s St. Peter Church in matching white coffins and buried at St. Peter’s Cemetery at a private service attended by roughly 100 mourners.

‘He is destroyed’

Devastated dad Pedro Panjon followed the caskets out of church after the funeral, as two men held his arms to steady him.

The distraught dad broke down sobbing as the bodies of his wife and children — 5-year-old son Jonael, 10-year-old daughter Joselyn and 12-year-old son Junior — were brought to their final resting places.

“He is destroyed,” said Panjon’s cousin, Monica Arevalo, to the local News Times after the service.

The relative called the ceremony “very difficult.”

“As a mother, this is so painful,” she said.

Panjon discovered his children murdered in the family’s house when he returned home from work last week.

He realized something was wrong when none of the kids greeted him at the door as usual, another cousin told The Post last week.

Panjon then saw a note in the kitchen from his wife that said, “Sorry, Pedro, I take my kids with me,” kin said.

The dad rushed to the children’s rooms and found them strangled with cords, possibly electrical cables, relatives said.

His wife had killed the kids, then hanged herself in a shed in the backyard, according to cops, who eventually found her body.

‘She was so sad’

Loja had been upset after the state of Connecticut shut down the illegal day-care operation she ran out of the family home, family said.

She also suffered from depression, which went untreated because she had no health insurance, relatives said.

“She was so sad. She would say, ‘I need to work,’ but she had three kids, so she wanted to work from home. She wanted to stay and take care of her kids and the other kids,’’ the cousin, Digna Naulaguari, had told The Post.
