Like the swallows returning to Capistrano, so Kanye West was his normal crazy self after his ex, Kim Kardashian, and nemesis, Pete Davidson, broke up.
The rapper shared a doctored New York Times front page on Instagram Monday that declared, “SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28.”
Sources say Kardashian is “livid” over the post.
A source close to the Skims mogul, 41, exclusively told Page Six that she believes her ex-husband “is back to his old ways.”
“Kim is livid and incredibly upset . . . Kim will not tolerate his bullying behavior towards the people she loves and cares about,” the source explained.
“Kim and Kanye have been in such a positive co-parenting space and with communication lately,” the insider continued. “Kim even was happy to support Kanye and do the Yeezy shoot and post for him . . . This is just a reminder to her that he will never change and why there will never be a chance of reconciliation.”
A second source close to Kim said she will “always protect Pete,” no matter their relationship status, and won’t stand for West’s behavior.
“She’ll never get back together with Kanye,” the source said, noting she asked the rapper to delete the photo several times “to no avail.”
Kardashian has “tried incredibly hard” to foster a good co-parenting situation for their four children — North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 — but can’t support this kind of behavior, a source told Page Six.
The insider also noted Kardashian and West’s impending divorce is still moving ahead.
The “Heartless” rapper, 45, dubbed Davidson “Skete” throughout his highly publicized, one-sided feud with the standup comedian.
His Instagram post wasn’t the first time he invoked the “Saturday Night Live” star’s death — West buried Davidson alive in his music video for the track “Eazy” back in March.
Sources confirmed to Page Six on Friday that Kardashian and Davidson, 28, broke up. They began dating in October 2021, almost eight months after she filed for divorce from West, but an insider said they “have decided to just be friends.”
“They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship,” the insider said.
A second source said the couple’s age difference played a role: “Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 — they are just in very different places at the moment.”
