Hours after the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago estate, former President Donald Trump posted an apocalyptic-sounding campaignstyle video saying the US has become a “failing nation” as his daughter-in-law said Democrats were “terrified” Trump will run again.

On Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Lara Trump said Monday’s raid was “about weaponizing the justice system . . . against somebody who you politically do not like.”

She said Democrats “are terrified” Trump will run again in 2024.

“We are a nation in decline,” Trump says at the start of a nearly 4-minute video posted after midnight Tuesday to his Truth Social account. Later, he says, “We are a nation that in many ways has become a joke. But soon we will have greatness again.”
