Weird BUT true

This story’s a hard one to gobble.

Residents in Woburn, Mass., say they are being taunted by terrifying turkeys that peck at their kids and cars.

The belligerent birds are wreaking such havoc that locals are running into their homes to escape being bit.

“The most aggressive one is Kevin,” says Meaghan Tolson, who has named the foul fowl. “Even if you are parked, Kevin will try to get in your car.”

This advice stinks. Landlords trying to throw their tenants out should defecate in the home’s bathroom in order to “assert ownership” during the eviction process, a candidate for city council in Vancouver has suggested.

Morning Lee, a real estate agent, gave the advice in a YouTube video titled: “How to evict bad tenants during the pandemic with ease. My personal experience. All landlords must watch!”

God save the workers! Employees at a Chinese factory that produces British flags have been overwhelmed with orders ever since Queen Elizabeth II died Sept. 8. The Shanghai workers apparently can’t keep up with the tens of thousands of orders for the Union Jack, and are being forced to work 14 hours a day to meet demand.

Conducting this study was like throwing money out the window.

A researcher at the University of Colorado found that turning off your air conditioner during the day saves money on your electric bill.

In other news, taking fewer showers saves money on your water bill.

That’s nuts!

A woman in Toronto took her car in for an oil change and found a squirrel nest filled with walnuts underneath her hood.

The vehicle had been sitting idle for a few weeks, and she took it in for a change when she noticed a shaking noise while driving.
