Taylor wails at tix freeze

It looks like Taylor Swift has some bad blood with Ticketmaster.

The pop icon, 32, took to Instagram Stories on Friday morning after the company canceled its general public ticket sale for the songstress’ upcoming Eras Tour.

On Thursday, Ticketmaster announced that they had to nix the upcoming sale due to “extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand.”

The news devastated millions of Swift’s hardcore fans, with the “All Too Well” singer now saying it “really pisses me off” that those who did secure presale tickets “feel that they had to go through several bear attacks to get them.”

“Well. It goes without saying that I’m extremely protective of my fans,” Swift said in a lengthy statement in her Stories. “There are a multitude of reasons why people had a hard time getting tickets, and I’m trying to figure out how this situation can be improved moving forward,” the Grammy winner continued.

Appearing to take a swipe at Ticketmaster, she added: “I’m not going to make excuses for anyone because we asked them, multiple times, if they could handle this kind of demand and they assured us they could. It’s truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.”

Ticketmaster is facing heat after Swifties were met with website outages and hours-long waits while trying to buy presale tickets.

The Justice Department, meanwhile, has opened an antitrust probe into the business practices of Ticketmaster’s owner, Live Nation Entertainment, The New York Times reported on Friday.
