Pax of silence in art world

-

ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt’s 19-yearold son, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, is getting in on the art game, sources exclusively tell us.

But don’t alert New York magazine just yet — we hear he isn’t relying on his famous family name. A source tells us the young artist is working under the pseudonym Embtto.

We’re told the pieces use a “digital and mixed-media process” that is then printed. The works have been described to us as “abstract,” though we are assured they’re not NFTs.

We’re told this isn’t just a hobby for Jolie-Pitt — and that he’s gearing up for a show at a gallery in Tel Aviv, Israel.

It’s unclear how much the works might cost. The move to show under a faux name is familiar for celeb kids. Page Six exclusively reported in 2021 that Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s son Rocco was selling pieces for thousands under the name Rhed at London’s Tanya Baxter Contemporary. His work, with “hints of Basquiat and Banksy,” touches on the “fixation of celebrities and labels,” according to the gallery.

Jolie-Pitt has tended to stay out of the limelight. He graduated from college in 2021, but a source told the Sun that “Pax definitely was not at the ceremony. He’s shy and it was believed he didn’t want to bring a circus to the event.”

In a rare public sighting, he was spotted shopping with Jolie around LA in November.

Pax has five siblings: Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox JoliePitt.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016 and legal proceedings have been long, with a bitter custody battle still ongoing. It has been reported that Pitt and Pax are estranged. Reps for Jolie could not be reached.

Pitt has had his own forays into the art world. In 2017, we reported that he’d taken up sculpting after the Jolie breakup. He had his own first public show last year, reports said, at a museum in Finland.
