Couric corrals stars for 60th

-

KATIE Couric threw a bash for husband and Katie Couric Media CEO John Molner’s 60th birthday at the Cutting Room, we hear — and a slew of A-listers surprised him with messages on his big day. Sources say Rosanna Scotto, Bob Costas and “Sex and the City” star John Corbett were among the revelers, and the couple’s favorite musician, Peter Cincotti, tickled the ivories. Later, the club fired up a video that included messages from famous friends, set to the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” theme. Michael Bloomberg admitted, “I could be your father and then some!” and Norah O’Donnell — current occupant of Couric’s onetime chair at “CBS Evening News” — said, “May you have more martinis and birdies in the year ahead.” Hugh Jackman fooled around creating an excuse for not coming, and “Billions” creator Andrew Ross Sorkin said, “I’m in the Alps with the beautiful people, business leaders and policy makers — all who have been coming up to me asking me to wish you a happy birthday.” George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth appeared together, and the 58-year-old comic quipped, “I just celebrated 40. I’d like to know what 60 is like.” Michael J. Fox and Julianne Moore gave birthday wishes, while Kristin Chenoweth ended the video by singing “Happy birthday, Mr. Molner” a la Marilyn Monroe.
